In accordance with the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Government of Montenegro and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, signed on 2 July 2008, and the Protocol of the 1st Session of the Montenegrin-Slovenian Joint Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation, signed on 11 March 2010 in Ljubljana, the 2nd Session of the Joint Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation was held on 25 October 2011, in Podgorica.

The Agency for International Cooperation has organized language training for the staff of the ministries for several past years under the Training Programme for Senior Staff and Civil Servants of the State Administration.

Mr. Manuel Recio Santamaria, TCEU1 Section Head and Country Officer for Montenegro, will visit Podgorica in the period from 5 to 7 September 2011. During the planned visit Mr. Recio will meet the representatives of relevant institutions involved in cooperation with the IAEA

We inform interested applicants that the Italian government, through its Embassy in Podgorica, has announced a call for applications for scholarships awarded for the academic year 2011/2012.
The scholarships are intended for Montenegrin nationals, aged between 18 and 35, who have the valid credentials for enrolment in educational institutions in Italy, recommendations from academic institutions in the country and/or Italy. The age limit does not apply to applicants who are Italian language teachers and actively engaged in teaching Italian. Knowledge of the Italian language will be tested.
