Exhibition of works by Selma Đečević and Nikica Raičević was opened in Zvonimir Gallery in Zagreb on 5 September 2011. The exhibition organizers are the Agency for International Cooperation, National Community of Montenegrins of Croatia (NZCH), Association of Montenegrins and Friends of Montenegro, and Zvonimir Gallery.
The exhibition was opened by Mr. Željko Zaninović, from the City of Zagreb Mayor`s office, within the traditional Days of Montenegrin Culture in Croatia. Dr Radomir Pavićević, President of NZCH, Ms. Slavica Perović, Senior Advisor in the Agency for International Cooperation and Ms. Zrinka Pillauer-Marić, curator of the Zvonimir Gallery, addressed numerous representatives of cultural and public life of Croatia and Montenegrin diaspora on behalf of the organizers. Ms. Barbara Vujanović, art historian, spoke about the exhibited paintings while Mr. Nikica Raičević, painter, expressed his gratitude.
Selma Đečević presented 30 graphics made in the technique of deep print depicting female face. Nikica Raičević exhibited 20 paintings with the motifs of Morača and Cijevna canyons made in the last two years.
The exhibition will be open until 20 September in Zagreb. Over the next six months this remarkable exposition will be available in Rijeka, Split, Pula, Umag and Labin.
The Agency for International Cooperation continues with this exhibition its cultural policy, promotion and affirmation of the Montenegrin culture and art abroad.
